Josefina Vázquez Mota, the fucking candidate for Mexican president

It takes a special sort of woman politico (politica?) to tackle the subject of women's emancipation by throwing it out the window and expecting women to act in a way more appropriate in the 1950's, but that's what we have in Josefina Vázquez Mota, the ruling PAN party's candidate for the 2012 Presidentials in Mexico. Her latest strategy in the campaign is 1) to call on the women of Mexico to withhold from having sex with their husbands/partners if said spouse doesn't go out to vote on July 1st, a tactic that she doubled down on yesterday by mentioning the case of a woman supporter who suggests "double cuchi cuchi", with cuchi cuchi Mexican colloquial that translates in fact and sentiment as "rumpy pumpy" (or as droog points out in the comments section "hoochie coochie" works fine too), for any man who votes in two Sunday's time.

You kind of expect the more traditional, white male club Neanderthal end of the political spectrum to continue treating women as sex objects. But a woman Presidential candidate for a country of 115m people? Who gets taken seriously by her followers?
