Prize Mining (PRZ.v) and the BridgeMark Group

To answer a reader's question.

When the BridgeMark corruption scam first came to light back in late November, the very first reaction of this humble corner of cyberspace to the news was summed up in the title line to the post, "Here's hoping the BCSC goes after TSX companies as well, not just CSE". Well people, so far at least the BCSC has made no public moves in that direction but its equivalent over in Alberta, the ASC, came out with a partial Cease Trade Order (CTO) last week on Prize Mining (PRZ.v), the TSXV stock that was pumped by a whole range of self-styled gurus and newsletter parasites in exchange for money and/or shares in 2017 and 2018 (while those running the scam dumped no end of shares onto the hapless buyers who fell for this cock and bull story). And part of the ASC presser has a list of entities now covered by the CTO. Here you go:
"The interim cease trade order affects: Seungkap Kim, Kyung Kim Yoon, Justin Edgar Liu, Lisa Jackson, Detona Capital Corp., Tryton Financial Corp., and Rockshore Advisors Ltd. (formerly known as Cam Paddock Enterprises), and any respondents who are associates of these parties by definition in the Act."
So let's compare that list of fun with the list published by the BCSC when it revealed the BridgeMark Group scam. Your humble scribe adds red ink whenever names coincide:

BridgeMark Financial Corp., Jackson & Company Professional Corp., Anthony Kevin Jackson; Lukor Capital Corp., Justin Edgar Liu; Rockshore Advisors Ltd. (formerly known as Cam Paddock Enterprises Inc.), Cameron Robert Paddock; Simran Singh Gill; JCN Capital Corp., John Rosarino Bevilacqua; Essos Corporate Services Inc., Sway Capital Corp., Von Rowell Torres, David Matthew Schmidt; Detona Capital Corp., Danilen Villanueva; Natasha Jon Emami; Altitude Marketing Corp., Ryan Peter Venier; Platinum Capital Corp., 658111 B.C. Ltd., Jason Christopher Shull; Tryton Financial Corp., Abeir Haddad; Tavistock Capital Corp., Robert John Lawrence; Jarman Capital Inc., Scott Jason Jarman; Northwest Marketing and Management Inc., Aly Babu Husein Mawji, Rufiza Babu Husein Mawji-Esmail, Denise Marie Trainor; Randy White, Escher Invest SA, Hunton Advisory Ltd.; Kendl Capital Limited; 1153307 B.C. Ltd., Russell Grant Van Skiver; Bertho Holdings Ltd., Robert William Boswell; Haight-Ashbury Media Consultants Ltd., Ashkan Shahrokhi; Saiya Capital Corporation, Tara Kerry Haddad; Keir Paul MacPherson; Tollstam & Company Chartered Accountants, Albert Kenneth Tollstam; 727 Capital, David Raymond Duggan; Viral Stocks Inc.; and 10X Capital.

And those are just the direct connections, there are others of course such as David Schmidt the ex-director of PRZ being a BridgeMark Group member, or the way David Duggan pumped the stock via his outlets. Anyone still think PRZ is a legit company? Anyone out there thinking that PRZ is the only TSXV name to have run scams on the general public, aided and abetted by corrupt conmen and conwomen who publish breathless hype in exchange for dirty money? If so please mail in, I would like to interest you in a bridge I have for sale.

The Friday OT: Rare Americans; Cat's, Dog's, and Rat's

My eldest daughter put me onto this Canadian duo. And I like the funky use of grammar in the title. And my eldest daughter has acclaimed musical taste. And I love her. And I'm biased, so here you go:

Good songsmithing, good vid too. Dragging me into the world of the modern. Youtube here.

Tahoe Resources (TAHO) ( Gabriel Friedman does the latest chapter nicely

On seeing the NR come through yesterday morning I thought it was more interesting than first meets to eye. You sometimes get anti-mining pressure group press releases on these matters and they are rarely more than op-eds, but the way in which three bodies have filed formal complaints to the BCSC just days before Pan American Silver (PAAS) is due to have its merger vote process is several steps up from the norm. So the idea was to post on it, but to be blunt the jetlag caught up with me and I fell asleep yesterday afternoon instead of working (on the sofa too, woke up with a painful neck).

But now that Gabriel Friedman of the Financial Post has covered the story, I get to take the lazy way out and refer you to his quality reporting (Friedman has grown on me in recent months, one of the best in the Canadian biz sphere and particularly among the mainstream media outlets). So here you go, click right here and read all about the latest chapter in the Tahoe Escobal snafu. Worth your time, mining person.

Gary Tanashian on the jerbs number

+312k is a blowout indeed. Here's the link to Gary's main thought on the data, concise and spot-on.

Another decent quarter from Sandstorm Gold (SAND) (

NR here, chart here:

The 14,150oz AuEq preliminary total puts us at 57,614 for 2018, which is a nice fit to its original 2018 guidance as seen in the 2017 YE filings of between 50k and 60k. That Q4 is slightly off compared to the other quarters is probably due to the Yamana copper stream reaching its 2018 delivery limit during the last few weeks of the year. As for 2019, as from a couple of days ago the Cerro Moro silver stream went live, that alone will give SAND a substantial bump compared to last year.

Prize Mining (PRZ.v): The scam moves into the comedy zone UPDATED

I can't keep up these days. In the space of a week (Christmas week at that) we go from this...

Vancouver, British Columbia (December 27, 2018) – PRIZE MINING CORPORATION (“Prize” or the “Company”) (TSXV:PRZ) (OTCQB:PRZFF) (MQSP:GR:FRANKFURT) announces that the Company has appointed Mr. Dallas Pretty, B.Comm., CA to the Company’s Board of Directors.  The Company is also announcing the resignations of David Schmidt and Robert Archer from the Company’s Board of Directors and the resignation of Feisal Somji as Executive Chairman and Director of the Company’s Board of Directors.
“Dallas brings over twenty years of experience in accounting, finance, capital and public markets to Prize and we are pleased to have him join our Board of Directors” stated Michael McPhie, President & CEO of Prize Mining. “We would like to thank Feisal, Robert ad David for their work with the company and wish them well in their future endeavors.” this:
VANCOUVER, Jan. 2, 2019 /CNW/ - PRIZE MINING CORPORATION ("Prize" or the "Company") (TSXV : PRZ) (OTCQB:PRZFF) (MQSP:GR:FRANKFURT) wishes to announce the appointment of Mr. José Aviña to the Company's Board of Directors (the "Board") effective December 31, 2018. The Company would also like to report the resignation of Mr. Dallas Pretty from the Company's Board effective December 31, 2018.

In short, Mr. Dallas Pretty lasted a full five days as a director (as long as you're like me and generous enough to include the weekend).

In other news, company CEO and front-man for this obvious bullshit scam Michael McPhie, the guy who was at one point so keen to engage me on social media, has now blocked me on Twitter and doesn't answer my mails. Wonder why....

UPDATE: And then there's this, out late last night:

CALGARY, Jan. 3, 2019 /CNW/ - The Alberta Securities Commission (ASC) has ordered an interim cease-trade of Prize Mining Corp. shares issued to the subscribers of a July 2018 non-brokered private placement until the determination of a January 14, 2019 hearing into allegations about Prize's public disclosure. The 10-day window gives the junior mining issuer and 12 other respondents time to contest preliminary allegations by Staff of the ASC that Prize breached the Securities Act (Alberta), and acted contrary to the public interest, by making misrepresentations and failing to comply with its continuous disclosure obligations.
The interim cease trade order affects: Seungkap Kim, Kyung Kim Yoon, Justin Edgar Liu, Lisa Jackson, Detona Capital Corp., Tryton Financial Corp., and Rockshore Advisors Ltd. (formerly known as Cam Paddock Enterprises), and any respondents who are associates of these parties by definition in the Act.

Oh man, I hope they keep digging. All those criminal operation pumphouses must be nervous. Also the ones who pretend they aren't but are.

Proven liar Daniel Ameduri pumps Keith Neumeyer's First Mining ( for the fiftieth time

The proven bullshit liar Daniel "Davidoff Cigar" Ameduri continues to suck deeply at the throbbing member of his partner in grime, Keith Neumeyer. Here at Future Money Trends, and he's also bounced $100k cashmoney over to sister scam site Wealth Research as seen here. But of all the words written on this pump, the only bit that matters is this, right at the end:

As for the stock, a bigger POS is difficult to imagine and it's as much of a money pit now as it was two years ago. Swamp Castle, oh yeah.

Posting will resume on this blog tomorrow

For secret reasons. That involve long-distance air travel.

Mining Ramblings ends 2018 nicely

I like this one, on uranium BSsers.

I like this one too, on what's coming soon from the best U brain on the interwebs. And a side order of Aussie zinc.

Compare and contrast: Reuters on Mexico in late December versus IKN on Mexico late November

I'm a little late to this December 20th report (travelling and Christmas and all that), but a kind soul put it in front of my eyes on Twitter this morning and here's the header:

Have a read of that, then feel free to compare that to the IKN take on the whole Mexico mining political risk AMLO hoo-hah as published back in November (when the whole thing was kicking off and caused mining stocks to drop). You can find that right here and there are several angles examined, but here's how the piece concluded
The bottom line is that I am less worried about the future of mining in Mexico than the panic sellers of last week. I’m also highly suspicious of the lack of depth shown by sell side analysts on the subject, especially those in the larger firms (Morgan Stanley and Citi are two of the large entities that helped spread the unalloyed fear last week) who should have the depth of knowledge to advise their clients better. However, I am not a knee-jerk buyer of the beaten-down stocks because a) the fear-mongering could go on for a while and b) even though the worst of the law project is unlikely to make it into law there is plenty of evidence to show that the Napito-driven mining scene in Mexico is going to see changes, first and foremost in better pay deals for workers. That means higher costs for the companies. And a final point; aside from the passive exposure via Sandstorm (SAND) ( which is something I am happy to take, the IKN Weekly ‘Stocks to Follow’ list has had no Mexico exposure for quite some time. That is not a coincidence, but in 2019 that may change once the new rules are established.

Don't say you weren't warned.

Frank Holmes and HIVE Blockchain (HIVE.v) first-footing you for news

By their acts shall ye know them. Frank Holmes decides to bury this NR out of HIVE Blockchain Technologies (HIVE.v) by filing it to SEDAR at 8:50pm on December 31st. Tells you all you need to know about the man's weasel mentality and the way in which his ridiculous and utterly unsustainable crypto mining business goes about its job of work.

As for the NR, the TL:DR is that its energy costs going up because tei, plus trying hard to boot debt into the never-never.

Happy New Year

Have a good 2019, esteemed readers of this humble corner of cyberspace.

Prize Mining (PRZ.v) and the Great Vancouver Hypocrisy Show

IKN Nerve Centre is enjoying the spectacle immensely. The same newsletter writers, bloggers, self-styled mining gurus and assorted hangers-on who launched into your humble scribe over this post on Prize Mining (PRZ.v) back on October 22nd are trying to re-make themselves as saviours and guardians of the truth, fighting to get to the head of the queue to slam PRZ and wisely stating that this sort of paid pump cheque swap thing should be stamped out. Even funnier is noting how the people who happily took payments from PRZ to pump the stock, e.g. "equity guru" Chris Parry and his mini-me Greg Nolan (aka "dirk diggler" on CEOca and other bullboards of ill repute) have suddenly seen the light, too.

These people do not provide the solution. They are the problem, the hypocritical assfaces.
